From design, zoning, fundraising all the way through to the final build.
Starting in New Jersey the goal is to build a facility in all 21 counties over the next 5 to 10 years. We are currently working on facilities in 4 counties that will provide housing for 70 at risk veterans. With an average of 20 units per facility we can provide enough housing for all 442 current at risk veterans in NJ.

An ambitious but achievable $8.2 million campaign - so we can house a number of homeless veterans, enhance our services, and expand our facilities.
22 new, fully-furnished apartment units for homeless veterans
Larger meeting and supportive services space for a growing, vibrant Post
3,000 sq foot event space for use by Westfield residents and others to rent for events.

Seven buildings of two affordable apartments each (total 14 units) set aside for only veterans completed
Old American Legion dismantled and removed. The new American Legion building shall replace the original building, and provide four additional affordable apartments (set aside for veterans).
